$40 plus $2.50 per page for Articles and Short Stories ($40.00 paid in advance)
$60 plus $3.50 per page for Book Manuscripts ($60.00 paid in advance)

Book Proposals to a Publisher

$15 Each book proposal to a publisher written entirely by the editor
$10 Each book proposal to a publisher written by the author and edited

Ghostwritten, “As told to”, or Co-authored Books

Explanation of Fee Schedules

Manuscript and Short Story Editing

There are four payment deadlines for each editing project.

1. Deadline 1: Pay the correct deposit, due before work begins ($60 for manuscripts, and $40 for articles and Short Stories)
2. Deadline 2: Due upon completion of 25% of the pages in the manuscript
3. Deadline 3: Due upon completion of 50% of the pages in the manuscript
4. Deadline 4: Due upon completion of 100% of the pages in the manuscript

You will be notified of the total price of the project, including the price of each of the four payment deadlines, via E-mail. The amount of time required to edit your manuscript varies based on multiple factors. No set time for completion is given, but rough estimations may be issued by Dr. Lon from time to time, via E-mail. None of these estimations are to be considered legally binding, and no reparations will be made, except at the Dr. Lon’s discretion.

Invoices will be emailed. Upon receiving of payment, the edited portion of the manuscript will be emailed to you.

Existing Book Proposal Editing ($10)

In checking the box on the website labeled “Existing Book Proposal Editing ($10)”, you hereby agree to be bound by the contents of this contract in an agreement between you (the author), and Dr. Lon Ackelson (editor). You agree to provide an existing book proposal digitally in the upload field provided, by E-mail if the website experiences technical difficulties, or in a physical format if Dr. Lon agrees to such an arrangement via E-mail.

You agree to pay the sum of $10.00 as the fee for these services. You agree to abide by the fee schedules listed above. If you have any questions or confusion regarding fee schedules, Email Dr. Lon Ackelson at ISAIAH68LA@sbcglobal.net with your questions.

Your existing book proposal will be reviewed, critiqued, and edited suitable for submission to a publisher.

Write Book Proposal ($15)

In checking the box on the website labeled “Write Book Proposal ($15)”, you hereby agree to be bound by the contents of this contract in an agreement between you (the author), and Dr. Lon Ackelson (editor). You agree to provide a synopsis, and all materials requested by Dr. Lon that he deems necessary to complete his services. This agreement is void if these materials are not provided by the author. The synopsis must be uploaded via the upload field provided, by E-mail if the website experiences technical difficulties, or in a physical format if Dr. Lon agrees to such arrangement via E-mail. Additional materials will be requested specifically by Dr. Lon Ackelson via mail or Email.

You agree to pay the sum of $15.00 as the fee for these services. You agree to abide by the fee schedules listed above. If you have any questions or confusion regarding fee schedules, Email Dr. Lon Ackelson at ISAIAH68LA@sbcglobal.net with your questions.

Your book proposal will be written, reviewed, critiqued, and edited suitable for submission to a publisher.

Article/Short Story Editing ($40 down, $2.50/page)

In checking the box on the website labeled “Article/Short Story Editing ($40 down, $2.50/page)”, you hereby agree to be bound by the contents of this contract in an agreement between you (the author), and Dr. Lon Ackelson (editor). You agree to provide a manuscript for an article or short story digitally in the upload field provided, by E-mail if the website experiences technical difficulties, or in a physical format if Dr. Lon agrees to such an arrangement via E-mail.

You agree to pay the sum of $40.00 as an advance deposit for these services. For every page edited, you agree to provide an additional $2.50. You agree to abide by the fee schedules listed above. If you have any questions or confusion regarding fee schedules, Email Dr. Lon Ackelson at ISAIAH68LA@sbcglobal.net with your questions.

Your article or short story will be reviewed, critiqued, and edited suitable for submission to a publisher.

Manuscript Editing ($60 down, $3.50/page)

In checking the box on the website labeled “Manuscript Editing ($60 down, $3.50/page)”, you hereby agree to be bound by the contents of this contract in an agreement between you (the author), and Dr. Lon Ackelson (editor). You agree to provide a manuscript that you desire to be edited. You agree to upload this manuscript either digitally in the upload field provided, by E-mail if the website experiences technical difficulties, or in a physical format if Dr. Lon agrees to such an arrangement via E-mail.

You agree to pay the sum of $60.00 as an advance deposit for these services. For every page edited, you agree to provide an additional $3.50. You agree to abide by the fee schedules listed above. If you have any questions or confusion regarding fee schedules, Email Dr. Lon Ackelson at ISAIAH68LA@sbcglobal.net with your questions.

Your book manuscript will be reviewed, critiqued, and edited suitable for submission to a publisher.

3-Chapter Book Proposal ($60 down, $3.50/page)

In checking the box on the website labeled “3-Chapter Book Proposal ($60 down, $3.50/page)”, you hereby agree to be bound by the contents of this contract in an agreement between you (the author), and Dr. Lon Ackelson (editor). You agree to provide a 3-Chapter Book Proposal that you desire to be edited. You agree to upload this Book Proposal either digitally in the upload field provided, by E-mail if the website experiences technical difficulties, or in a physical format if Dr. Lon agrees to such an arrangement via E-mail.

You agree to pay the sum of $60.00 as an advance deposit for these services. For every page edited, you agree to provide an additional $3.50. You agree to abide by the fee schedules listed above.
